Jacqui's Update for June 17, 2009: Jacqui Takes a Walk

Despite the much warmer temperatures than we had been experiencing until early June, it was still a perfect Sunday morning for a walk. Jacqui wore the polished band KAFOs with saddle shoes and a pair of tan shorts, and completed the ensemble with summer-weight tan pantyhose under the braces. Paige decided to use the opportunity to try out the new AFOs we had just received, and so she is featured in some of this series as a special addition to Jacqui's photos. For her walk, Paige picked a denim miniskirt, the black shoes and bare legs.

At first we had the path to ourselves, but on the walk back to the van several single riders and families on bicycles passed us by. It must have been an unusual event for them to see two pretty ladies walking along in braces, and it was a special event for Jacqui & Paige since it was the first time they had both been in braces in public.
