September 23, 2009: Today marks the first full day of Fall, and we thought this was the perfect time to repost one of Jacqui's Costume Shoots in honor or Fall. This set was taken on November 5, 2006, and features Jacqui as the Woodland Fairy in her black leather KAFOs, which we still get many requests for. As soon as we can free up the funds (or find a do-it-ourself solution!) to refurbish them so they work and fit well, we do intend to bring them back for new photos.

Those of you who have been visiting the site for some time probably will remember how many bushes and trees were overgrown and cluttering the front deck when we first moved into the new house. It's much easier for Jacqui and Paige to grab the rail and get down the steps safely now that we've cleaned it up a bit! In these photos you can see how difficult and crowded it ws back then!

Despite the bright sun it was a chilly day when we took these photos, so pretty soon Jacqui started heading back to the house to warm up a little...

The sunlight was less filtered by the leaves of the trees on the deck, so we took a few minutes more to get some shots in the better light before going inside so Jacqui could relax in the wheelchair and take her braces off...
